markandmarietravel After our visit to the cemetery we were due to have a driving tour of Buenos Aires before visiting the cathedral. This turned into a walking tour when the roads became too clogged as some had been closed for protests against the government. Argentina, eh? We still got to the cathedral in time to see the changing of the guards in front of the Mausoleum of General San Martín with the statues personifying Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
