This is a landscape format black and white image of a burnt out wooden pier sitting isolated in a calm sea. The remainder of the pier occupies the bottom right quarter of the image. The sky shows through its wooden struts. A sky of whispy clouds and vapour trails dominates the top half of the image. Although in black and white, there is a sense of summer warmth. Taken in Brighton with a Sony RX100.
